Complex Rhinological Cases - The frontal sinus

Complex rhinological cases come along often when working in a large tertiary / quaternary referral centre. These are patients that have persistent disease and symptoms despite medical, surgical and combination of the two treatment modalities. Frequently, there is a history of multiple operations, with associated morbidity.


Careful planning and deciding the right extent and timing of definitive surgery is paramount to achieve good results.
